I agree with you pretty much on everything! :D And yes, I think Sarah Brightman is kind of...scary... ;)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03850398898013209590noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1675505464619019227.post-24065453999565267532012-08-01T18:57:31.392-05:002012-08-01T18:57:31.392-05:00Phantom is excellent. I had the opportunity to meet him and Marni Rab(Christine) after their performance they are both truly lovely people, They took the time to chat with us and sign autographs and take pickures. Fans truly appreciate it although I'm sure it can become redundant. Sean McLaughlin was also in this cast and I've seen him as Raoul 3 times, he indeed is quite the character with his facial expressions and gives his character...well character. lol I do agree Cortney, Hadley Fraiser is the perfect Raoul, How could Christine resist. Hadley is so good in Les Miz as well. I too know almost every lyric by heart. Adam Pascal does have a beautiful voice but I fear those dimples would give him away. I also enjoyed the movie wirh Gerry and Emmy it made me want to see the live Broadway shows. I also was glad to see Gerry without a million arrows through him! lol Cortney I also agree with your comment about the original cast, Sarah Brightman acted too creepy for Christine.Sandynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1675505464619019227.post-37093612171833647932012-08-01T11:37:17.672-05:002012-08-01T11:37:17.672-05:00I did, he did a good job on the movieI did, he did a good job on the movieNathannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1675505464619019227.post-48179313860501767612012-07-31T17:47:29.292-05:002012-07-31T17:47:29.292-05:00Thanks, Nathan! I like all of the performers you mentioned. Hadley Frasier, Sierra Boggess, and Ramin Karimloo were really good in the anniversary performance, and Ramin and Sierra are great in the sequel. Hadley is the perfect Raoul, but Sean McLaughlin is hilarious in the role, especially with his facial expressions, but he still manages to portray Raoul very well. John Cudia is one of my favorite Phantoms. The movie is one of my favorite movies. However, I really don't like the original cast with Sarah Brightman, Michael Crawford, and Steve Barton.<br />I would be interested in seeing Adam Pascal play the Phantom, too.Cortneynoreply@blogger.com
