Actor/Author Page

Hello everyone!

As I'm sure you can tell, I have been very busy in college, getting my BFA in Theatre Arts. I have slowly but surely continued writing my next novel, Tossed Together, and I hope I can share more about that with you later.

In other news, I want to share with you my official website. This will host a combination of information on my acting AND writing life. These are both important parts of who I am, and I needed a space to combine them. This will still remain my author blog and I will occasionally update it, but my new website will be my central location for everything related to me.

Thanks for staying with me on this ride!

The Lost Girl of Astor Street Clue Hunt: Clue # 7

Hello, everyone! Welcome to Stop #7. Keep reading for your clue!

I am so excited to be taking part in Stephanie Morrill's clue hunt for her latest novel, The Lost Girl of Astor Street.
/

Lydia has vanished.

Lydia, who’s never broken any rules, except falling in love with the wrong boy. Lydia, who’s been Piper’s best friend since they were children. Lydia, who never even said good-bye.

Convinced the police are looking in all the wrong places, eighteen-year-old Piper Sail begins her own investigation in an attempt to solve the mystery of Lydia’s disappearance. With the reluctant help of a handsome young detective, Piper goes searching for answers in the dark underbelly of 1924 Chicago, determined to find Lydia at any cost.

When Piper discovers those answers might stem from the corruption strangling the city—and quite possibly lead back to the doors of her affluent neighborhood—she must decide how deep she’s willing to dig, how much she should reveal, and if she’s willing to risk her life of privilege for the sake of the truth.

From the glitzy homes of the elite to the mob-run streets of 1920s Chicago, Stephanie Morrill’s jazz-age mystery shows just how far a girl will go to save her friend.

I've been a fan of Morrill's books for quite awhile, but what intrigues me the most about The Lost Girl of Astor Street is that it's set in the 1920's! I am a huge fan of the 1920's, so I thought I would share with you some of my favorite fashions of the era, courtesy of my Pinterest Board.

Thanks for reading! Clue #7 is.... PIPER

Central Base for Everything Heather Manning

Hello, dear readers!

As you can likely see, I have not been posting here very often. This is due to my hectic schedule of college, work, writing, and theatre. But I have good news for you if you have been missing my updates!

I am still blogging...but in the form of video blogs. Please take a moment to subscribe to my Youtube Channel . I adore video blogs because they take up less time than old-fashioned blogs, and to me, they let you really get to know me better by seeing a slice of my life. You can check out my latest vlog here:
I will still be around here, and all of my contact forms on this website are still running. I will still be around and will update this site occasionally. Basically, this site will serve as my central base. Here, you can find links to my Youtube ChannelFacebook Page, Twitter Account, and Instagram Account. I frequently post to these accounts, so please subscribe/like/follow me to keep in touch!

I thank all of my dear readers for their support and look forward to hopefully finishing my third novel, Tossed Together, in the new year.

Other Ways to Connect with Me!

Hey everyone! So, I obviously have not been posting here very much. I wanted to let you know that I have switched from the blog-y format I have typically used in the past to short updates that I am sharing on my Facebook Page.
I feel like this is a lot more personal and easier for me to interact with people there. Even if you don't have a FB account, you can still see my Facebook posts on the side of this page. And, there's the contact tab on my page that you should feel free to use. I love hearing from you guys and answering you back!
You can also reach me on my semi-personal Facebook account, where I am glad to friend you.
Also, follow me on Instagram, because I sometimes post stuff there that I don't elsewhere.

I am also working on experimenting with a video blog documenting what I've been doing every few weeks or so. I know that at my summer Facebook party, you guys enjoyed those videos, so I thought I'd try some more. I may upload one soon.

Of course, I will still be around here and happy to hear from you all and will be posting major updates as well. I hope you all are doing well!
